New Kona Facility Opens! July 21, 2010
Yesterday marked another big step for Lighthaus Camera, when we opened our expanded showroom and facility in Kailua-Kona. Our beautiful new showroom and management office is the result of over six months of planning and construction in the Lighthouse Building. It more than quadruples the size of our headquarters. The new entrance is on the ground floor on the Mauka side of the building. It features an expanded equipment display area, and gallery area to have monthly displays of local photographer's work. It will now be known as Lighthaus Camera and Gallery. The dust is still settling, so please bear with us, but stop by and check it out when you get a chance.
It's a little eerie now walking through the upstairs office we just vacated after over sixteen years. There's a patina on the walls and I realize that it is the shadow of an incredible personal and business maturity that's taken place in this space. True to the geography, it's been a very lofty place. Thanks so much to all have been on the journey here with me, both customers and associates.
All the best,
Don
